After graduating, he served in the United States Army for two years before beginning his career in accounting. In 1962, Joe married the love of his life, Mary Ann, and the couple went on to have four children: Joseph, Michael, Anthony, and Maria. Joe was a devoted husband and father, and he took great pride in his family. He loved spending time with his wife and children, and later, his grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Church in Brooklyn on March 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn.
